Introduction and a quick hello!

I’m Matt, a 22 year old Aussie who, yep you guessed it, loves to play video games and write about them. I started writing in my early teens, posting game reviews over at GameFAQs if memory serves correctly. Since then I’ve done work for various gaming sites and have graduated with a degree in communications; a field that I work in today when I’m not staring at the computer screen typing.

For those who have never been to Australia, I suggest if you get the chance to check it out. We are friendly people who don’t bite, and we have excellent weather almost all year around. Score.

My first console was the Sega Mega Drive (known as the Genesis in other places), before also going out to buy a Super Nintendo to have best of both worlds. Today I play a lot of PC orientated games with my favourite genres being real-time strategy and first person shooters, so look forward to my work in those areas. Of course, I still spend a massive amount of time on my Xbox 360, and have my DS with me when I need to play something on the go. Isn’t gaming these days just great?

If anyone ever has any comments, suggestions, or queries – do not hesitate to get in touch a chat. I’ll get my Xbox Live gamer tag/Steam account up soon, so feel free to add me, or heck even add me to MSN; always looking to chat with fellow gamers.
